The long-awaited Hera Pheri 3 has been in the news for quite some time, and now, actor Paresh Rawal has shared an important update about the film’s progress. The movie, which brings back the beloved trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Rawal himself, is currently in the scripting stage.
Speaking to News18, Rawal confirmed, "Hera Pheri 3 is currently being scripted. We’ll begin shooting once the script is ready. Hopefully, by the end of this year or early next year, the film should go on floors."
This comes as exciting news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of the cult comedy franchise. The original film, Hera Pheri, directed by Priyadarshan, was released in 2000 and instantly became a comedy classic. It was followed by Phir Hera Pheri in 2006, directed by the late Neeraj Vora, and also became a massive hit.
Rawal also emphasized the team’s focus on quality, stating, "We don’t want to make something just for the sake of it. We want the film to be genuinely funny and worth the audience’s time."
The Hera Pheri series is known for its unforgettable characters and memorable one-liners, and it holds a special place in Bollywood comedy. Fans have been eagerly speculating about the third part for years, especially after reports confirmed that the original trio would return.
