Pathaan ROW! Kangana Ranaut Brutally Slammed for Praising Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan! Netizens Call Out Actress For Her Double Standards
Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines once again after she was finally reinstated on Twitter. The actress was even seen attending her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ event where she was asked about Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

Responding to the question, she said that she wants the movie to 'definitely work' as she praised the action film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

"Pathaan acha kar rahi hai. Aisi films chalni chahiye aur I feel ki jo hamare Hindi cinema wale piche reh gaye hain, har insaan apne level pe koshish kar raha hai (Pathaan is doing very well. I feel films like this should definitely work. Hindi cinema has been lagging behind other film industries, and we are all trying to finally bring back the business in our own little way)," Kangana was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

However, Kangana Ranaut’s latest remarks did not go well with the netizens and she ended up being the laughing stock.

One user commented, " Kangana is saying that the movie is good. Is that true? As she was saying boycott". Another user said, "Bhakto ki ma or baap kangna or Anupam b Pathan dekh rahe h. Ab bhakto ka kya hoga". One more user laughed at Kangana and said, "Aukaat pe aa gaye hai sab".

Anupam Kher also said in Hindi, "It (Pathaan) is a huge film, made on a huge budget."

For the unversed, Pathaan has generated buzz among fans, with the number of advanced bookings soaring. As per a PTI report, experts had backed the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan to open somewhere between ₹45-50 crore at the box office.

The advance bookings for Pathaan had opened on January 20. As per the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Pathaan is likely to revive Bollywood’s business.

"The film is going to take a historic start at the box office with opening day collections of ₹45-50 crore. The box office revival will begin with Pathaan, especially looking at its advance booking, which is very rare. It is a great start to 2023 despite being a working day," Adarsh told PTI.
