Pathan: Deepika Padukone All Set To Join Co-Star Shah Rukh Khan On The Sets - Report
As per reports, Deepika Padukone is expected to start shooting for YRF's Pathan, also starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, from today!
It goes without saying that Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are among one of the most loved on-screen couples of Bollywood. The former, in fact, made her big Bollywood debut with SRK in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, which was a huge success. The duo then went on to star in blockbusters like Chennai Express and Happy New Year. Given their success rate, fans have only wished to see more of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Well, that's indeed happening! From a very long time, rumours were rife that SRK and Deepika are all set to reunite for YRF's upcoming film, Pathan. There, however, has been no confirmation on the same. It was only recently that the first glimpse of Khan from the sets of Pathan went viral, leaving the internet go crazy. The superstar was sporting long tresses with braids and looked handsome as ever.
Now, if a recent report in Hindustan Times is anything to go by, it appears that the Bajirao Mastani actress is all set to join King Khan for the film's shooting. As per the portal, Deepika has recently landed in Mumbai for the very same purpose. Prior to this, the actress was in Goa, neck deep into the shooting of Shakun Batra's next co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. A source close to the actress said to the portal, “Deepika is all set to start shooting for her next film, Pathan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The shoot begins today at YRF Studios itself. The makers haven’t officially announced anything about the film but work is on in full swing.”
Also starring John Abraham, Pathan is going to be helmed by Siddharth Anand, whose last was Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War. Well, everything around Pathan has been successfully kept under wraps.
Adding to fans' excitement, it is being speculated that Pathan will have a special appearance by none other than Salman Khan. Nothing, however, is official.
