Payal Ghosh's #MeToo Allegations On Anurag Kashyap: Actress Feels Many Are Suppressing Her Voice; Affirms: 'The Truth Is Going To Come Out'
Payal Ghosh who has levelled sexual misconduct allegations on Anurag Kashyap feels people are suppressing her voice as she doesn't come from a filmy background and asserted that the truth will be out eventually
Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Payal Ghosh recently accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. She alleged that Anurag forced himself on her. Kashyap even called these allegations completely baseless; the actresses who have worked with him in the previous films like Taapsee Pannu, Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin, Radhika Apte and even his first wife have come out in support of him. Seeing Anurag getting so much support from the industry, Payal feels that thousands of people are putting efforts to suppress her voice as she doesn't come from a filmy background but she asserted that the truth will be out eventually.
Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, "There are a thousand effort every day to suppress my voice. The plot to change the twist every day is happening. This is what happens when someone without a filmy background raises the voices. Let the time come, the truth is going to come out .. it's eventual #metoo" In another tweet, she said that post 'smash the patriarchy,' it's time to stand for women. Her tweet read, "People blame women for everything and post smash the patriarchy. It's time to stand with the women. Let them be heard. A voice suppressed is a generation of women oppressed. It's in 2020. Come on, India! #MeToo"
SpotboyE.com exclusively reported that Payal Ghosh went to Oshiwara police station to file an FIR against the filmmaker. "Payal is at the Oshiwara police station with her lawyers to file an official complaint against Anurag Kashyap," our sources informed us.

Meanwhile, Richa Chadha also took a stand against her name being dragged into controversies and allegations where her lawyer issued a statement, suing Payal Ghosh for defamation. She even shared an update on her social media account, informing that the papers have been delivered.
