Payal Ghosh Takes A Dig At Anurag Kashyap Saying He Gives Chances To 'Strugglers And Failed Actors'; Deletes Later
Payal Ghosh in her recent tweet took a dig at Anurag Kashyap by talking about her mid-budget films
Bengali actress Payal Ghosh accusing filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct has kept her in the news for the past couple of days. The actress later also went on to lodge a complaint against him at Versova police station in Andheri, followed by which he was summoned by the police for interrogation. While this has been keeping the actress in news, she recently flew off to Delhi to meet the chairperson of National Commission for Women to understand and take guidelines from them. Now, she once again took to social media to speak up her mind.
The actress in her latest tweets that mentioned Anurag Kashyap has only given opportunities to rookie actors in his films which are produced in the budget of Rs 10-12 crore. Also out of these rookie actors only 1-2 actors have really made it big. She also mentioned that when the filmmaker tried his hands at big budget films such as Bombay Velvet he failed miserably. Her Tweet read, “Mr. Kashyap gives chance to only strugglers or failed actrors ()and 1-2 among them have shined out..he makes middle budget movies and promote those 10-12crs movies .. once he tried his hands on big project like #bombayvelvet and he failed miserably. Sad na.. !!”
Soon the actress deleted the tweet. The actress also has a defamation case filed against her by Richa Chadha for dragging her name in this.

As per reports, Richa has filed a Rs. 1.1 lakh case on her for tarnishing her image. Post which the actress first denied of dragging her name in it and tweeted, “I hv nothing to do wd Ms Chadda.We as women hv got 2stand wd each other,shoulder to shoulder.I don't want any unintentional harrasment to her or me on this matter. Followed by the actress also stating she won’t apologise as she has not said anything incorrect, her tweet read, “I am not apologizing to anyone. I have not wronged nor have I given a wrong statement about anyone. I just said what @anuragkashyap72 told me. #SorryNotSorry”
