Payal Ghosh Takes A Dig At Bollywood Stars; Says 'Log Chullu Bhar Paani Mein Doob Ke Bhi Natural Death Mar Jaate Hai'
Actor Payal Ghosh came into the limelight after she accused one of the renowned directors of Bollywood, Anurag Kashyap. The actor said that the filmmaker forced himself on her; reacting to her allegations, Kashyap asserted that those claims were 'baseless' on his social media account. After levelling the serious allegations, she even filed an FIR against him. Reportedly, the FIR was registered under Indian Penal Code Sections 376 (I) (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty,), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 342 (wrongful confinement). Anurag was also summoned by the police at the Versova Police station where he was reportedly grilled for 8 hours. Amidst this, Payal recently took to her Twitter handle and posted a tweet, taking a jibe at the deaths in Bollywood.

"Bollywood mein toh log chullu bhar paani mein Doob ke bhi natural death mar jaate hai..!! Na Biwi Na Bachha Na Baap Bada Na Maiyan The Whole Thing Is That Ke Bhaiya Sabse Bada Rupaiya", her tweet read, followed by rolling on the floor emoticon. Even her followers and fans supported her as one user wrote, "It's true....Aap sahi boli aesa hi hota hai..Kaam agar hame kaam krna hai to kuchh na kuchh sacrifice krna hoga wrna kaam nai milega." while another one commented, "I must say you r brave girl. Proud of you. Keep going against injustice. We all are with you dear. Keep fighting."

Talking about her #MeToo allegations, Payal even met the National Commission of Women's head Rekha Sharma to discuss the #MeToo case against Anurag. The filmmaker's lawyer even issued an official statement on his behalf.

A part of the statement read, “In an FIR registered with the Versova Police Station, one Ms. Payal Ghosh has alleged that in August 2013, my client, Mr. Anurag Kashyap, called her to his house and sexually harassed her. My client presented himself for questioning before the investigating authority on 1st October 2020. Mr. Kashyap has denied all wrongdoing in the matter and has provided his statement to the police. The material provided by Mr. Kashyap, in support of his statement, demonstrates that the complaint of Ms. Ghosh is an outright lie."  ALSO READ: Anurag Kashyap Purposely Did NOT Reveal Dates Of Sri Lanka Stay, As Payal Ghosh Could Allegedly Manipulate The Day Of Incident- REPORTS
