Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna secretly tied the knot in 2001 away from the media glare. The couple completed 20 years of their wedding this year, now circulating on the internet are their unseen pictures from their wedding. Akshay and Twinkle got hitched at the famous designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s residence in a traditional ceremony. And the pictures circulating from their hush hush wedding affair are truly a BLISS! The pictures have the couple clicked during their pre-wedding festivities as well as during the nuptials.
Twinkle and Akshay wore colour coordinating outfits on their D-day, Akki wore traditional sherwani in white with red dupatta and sehra, Twinkle looked pretty in a red bridal outfit. In one of the pictures we would also see Twinkle’s younger sister Rinke Khanna in the background. We wonder if Twinkle has come across these pictures now going viral, the actress turned author might have an hilarious reaction to it, keeping in mind her sense of humour. Akshay in one of the interviews had confessed of falling in love with Twinkle when they first met.
Though the now married couple felt it was a fling, and ignored it they only found themselves soaked in love even more and took the plunge. The wedding was attended by a handful of people and was closely guarded from the media.
When Akshay Kumar appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, he revealed that Twinkle had hopes on her movie, Mela, back then she had said only if the movie fails, she would marry him. The couple has two children, son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
