Pinch 2: Genelia Deshmukh And Riteish Deshmukh Respond To Troll Calling Her ‘Besharam, Cheap, Vulgar Aunty’
Arbaaz Khan reads out mean tweets about his guests to them and provokes a reaction. Previous guests on the second season of Pinch have included Salman Khan, Ananya Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Farhan Akhtar, Farah Khan, Tiger Shroff, Kiara Advani and others. The finale episode of Arbaaz Khan’s chat show ‘Pinch’ season 2 saw the appearance of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza as guests. The episode featured them getting candid about a few interesting stories and their social media escapades.

In the recently released episode, Arbaaz reminded Riteish about a viral video that saw the actor in a conversation with Preity Zinta while Genelia was caught with a cold expression. As soon as the video was posted on social media, it went viral. Fans of the couple were keen to know what happened when Genelia and Riteish returned home. In fact, earlier this year, Genelia had shared a funny video in response to fans’ demands.

When reminded of the incident, a smiling Genelia recalled, “Riteish and Preity were having a conversation. And unfortunately, a cameraman focused on my expression.” Soon, Riteish turned into an absolute charmer and did exactly “what I did for Preity.” Genelia gushed as Riteish kissed her hands.

According to the show’s format, Arbaaz hurls mean tweets at his guest, to spark a reaction in them. In the recent episode, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were also seen tackling criticism and troll comments. One particularly nasty comment called her a ‘vulgar aunty’ whose ‘overacting’ would embarrass even children.

The mean comment about Genelia read: “Besharam, cheap, vulgar aunty always overacting. Doesn't suit your age and face especially when you're married and got two kids dadi amma. Even kids will be shocked and embarrassed with all your overacting. They'll be like, ‘Even we don’t act anything like this'.”

A shocked Genelia reacted, “I don't think he's having a good day at home. I hope you're well, bhaisaab. I hope you're really okay at home.”

Later, Riteish pointed out that trolling is something that celebrities must develop a thick skin against, after having made the decision to become public figures. “It’s okay for people to comment because you are putting yourself out there. I don’t think there is a need to take offence. I always write, ‘Love you too my friend,'” he said.

Arbaaz also read out a comment on their viral video. “It is his fault. He should focus on his wife more,” the comment read. In response to the comment, Riteish laughed out loud and said, “Well, even I want that you focus on your wife and not mine.”
