Kirti Kulhari who got rave reviews for her last two films Pink (2016) and Indu Sarkar (2017) can't wait for this Friday, November 24. Her darling husband Saahil Sehgal, makes his Hollywood debut with Basmati Blues.

Saahil is supremely excited for the film hitting the theatres. It went under production in 2013, and is finally going to hit screens now.

Talking exclusive to SpotboyE.com, Saahil said, "We began shooting for Basmati Blues in 2013, and because it's an independent film, it took long for it to finish. In 2015 we re-shot some portions of the film again, and finally it's getting released now. Even now, there is some problems going on, as the international distributors are releasing the film on February 9, and the Indian distributors are adamant to release the film this Friday. Now, we all know that once the film releases at any corner of the world, there is piracy and the film gets leaked to the rest of the world. The producers are trying hard to shift the release to February 9. Let's see what happens."

Talking more about the film, Saahil said, "It's about how a brilliant scientist is plucked out of the company lab and sent to India to sell a genetically modified rice, which she created. However, what she doesn't realize that it will destroy the farmers whom she thinks she's helping."

About the casting of the film, Saahil said, "When we began shooting for the film, Brie Larson wasn't this huge Oscar winning actress. So now, that the delay has happened, it's good only for the film, as the movie will now benefit from Brie's popularity."
Coming back to the actor's personal life, Kirti and Saahil got married last year right before the release of Pink, and now he is all set to make his huge H-Town splash.
