Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the nation by storm yesterday with his decision to ban 500 and 1000 rupees notes to curb the flow of black money in market and has thanked Bollywood celebrities personally on Twitter

A bold move by PM Narendra Modi has left everyone talking. In an extraordinary step to tackle the scourge of black money in the country, Narendra Modi announced that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes will no longer be legal. He assured the nation that "this step will strengthen the hands of the common man in the fight against black money."

As far as Bollywood’s reaction on the black money issue is concerned, filmmaker 
Mukesh Bhatt does not deny that black money was a large part of the film industry in 80s and 90s. While talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, he said "But please understand that we were then subjected to a very high income tax, nearly to the tune of 85 per cent. Today, everyone in the film industry is paid in cheque. Black money?
