Police Inquiry Initiated Against Aib

The AIB Knockout video has run into a controversy.
The police have initiated an inquiry into a complaint lodged by Akhilesh Tiwari of the Brahman Ekta Seva Sangh against filmmaker Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and the AIB group (Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Gursimran Khamba and Ashish Shakya).
Tiwari told SpotboyE.com, "It's utter shame in the name of comedy what the film fraternity has done. It's a disrespect to our mother land. These people whom the world considers as their idolhave crossed all limits of decency. It was something I couldn't bear and hence decided to file a case against them. I will fight till the time all the actors present at the hall and organisers are sent to jail. If the cops won't help, I shall approach the court."
The complaint with the Saki Naka police station alleges that the celebrity trio had used filthy and abusive language on the show.
Congress MLA Krishna Hegde has also written a complaint letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, and Maharashtra's Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde.
The state government has also initiated an inquiry into the matter.
When contacted, Hegde said, “Imagine, if an edited version is so objectionable, what would the unedited version? It’s objectionable because these people in question are celebrities and what they say and do is often taken as an example by the youth in particular. There are other means to do charity, why throw muck at each other? And if they've made so much money that they claim they have, I want to know if they have paid the entertainment tax. If there is another such event being planned, I want to know what the current BJP-led government is doing in Maharashtra about it.”
