During an interview with Times Now, Kangana called Urmila Matondkar a ‘soft porn star’. Now, Pooja Bhatt took to her social media handle to tweet about Urmila Matondkar’s performance in the film Rangeela, after Kangana Ranaut’s remarks. After Kangana’s remarks episode, Pooja Bhatt made a tweet and tagged Urmila Matondkar, calling her a ‘legend’. In her tweet, Pooja Bhatt spoke about Matondkar’s performance in the 1995 film Rangeela directed by Ram Gopal Varma. As Matondkar established herself with the romantic drama, Pooja Bhatt said that watching the actress in the film Rangeela was a treat visually, and emotionally. She then mentioned in her tweet that Urmila Matondkar raised the bar for all of her co-actors in so many ways and said that she left all moviegoers awestruck. Pooja Bhatt also mentioned that she respects Urmila Matondkar’s two qualities ‘sensuality and dignity’ that she combined.
