Pooja Hedge made her big Bollywood debut in 2016 and is already working with some of the industry's biggest names including Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, early in her career. And she is enjoying every bit of it! Her debut film Mohenjo Daro flopped but Pooja braved somehow out the rough waters.
The actress now popular down South has quite caught the eye of the Hindi film industry now with rumours of her being signed for a 3-film deal by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Sources suggest that one of the movies that she has signed with his production banner, Nadiadwala & Grandsons, is an action genre. And now, it's karate time
It’s learnt that Pooja, who is currently promoting her highly-anticipated Telugu action drama, Maharshi opposite south superstar Mahesh Babu, has started learning Taekwondo, a popular martial art form for her next.
A source informs, “Since it’s an action film, the female protagonist is required to perform some hardcore moves." Insiders have, time and again, suggested that the Nadiadwala movie is loosely based on the Hollywood fantasy thriller, Tomb Raider (2001) starring Angelina Jolie. Clearly Pooja sees this movie as a big responsibility and is leaving no stone unturned. Quite a dedicated actress, we must say.
