Pregnant Amrita Rao Reveals She Is Nervous About The Idea Of Motherhood, But Is Looking Forward To Being A Friend To Her Little One
As preggers Amrita Rao is ready to deliver soon now, she opened up about being nervous about the idea of motherhood
Actress Amrita Rao took everyone by surprise after she revealed she was pregnant. The news was confirmed after she and her husband and RJ Anmol, were spotted in town, and she was seen flaunting her baby bump. Now, the actress, in a conversation with Times Of India, spoke about her preparation for this new phase in her life and also worries that left her nervous. She spoke about discovering new things in each stage of pregnancy, followed by mentioning her aim to be a friend to her little one.
She said, “I have heard that with babies every few months there is a landmark transition. You are perpetually about discovering new things. Yes, I am nervous about the idea of motherhood but the saying is true- when you see your baby’s face the mother in you effortlessly awakens. I am looking forward to being a friend to this little wonder in my life.”
In one of her Instagram posts during Navratri, Amrita Rao had written about bowing down to the deity as she enters the ninth month of her pregnancy.

Seen in a red saree, caressing her baby bump, she wrote in her Instagram caption, “NAVRATRI AND NINE’TH MONTH!! My Dear Instees, I feel blessed to witness my Nine’th month of pregnancy in the auspicious month of Navratri! These 9 days are dedicated to Goddess Durga and her Nine Avatars. I am entering a New phase of embodying the Avatar of a Mother myself! She further also wished that Goddess Durga gives all the mothers the strength and grace required for this role in life. “May Goddess Durga bless ALL Mother’s and Mommy’s to be with strength and more power to gracefully carry on with the the many Devine Avatar’s that comes along with the territory of motherhood!!
