Their post read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
However, during the announcement they did not share the baby's name or sex.
While their fans are eagerly waiting to know whether the couple has welcomed a baby boy or a girl, a recent DailyMail report suggests that Priyanka and Nick have been blessed with a baby girl.
Soon, several celebs congratulated the actress in the comments section of the post. Huma Qureshi wrote, "This is amazing! @priyankachopra Congratulations @nickjonas." Many have reservations about opting for surrogacy and people often mistake thinking that one of the individuals might have some health issue. However, according to the report in the portal states that Priyanka doesn’t have any fertility issues, however it wasn’t even easy for her at the age of 39. Plus due to their busy schedules, they couldn’t conceive.
A source told DailyMail that the woman who delivered Priyanka and Nick’s child had become a surrogate for the fifth time, and when the couple met her they really liked her.
Reportedly, the couple was supposed to welcome their baby in April. But, it was premature delivery in the 27th week.
The couple was recently spotted enjoying a romantic evening stroll at a beach near San Diego. It is being speculated that the duo was chilling at Del Mar Dog Beach, near San Diego. They meandered on the sand for about 30 minutes as their dogs took in the sights, sounds and smells.
