Priyanka Chopra made it to the headlines and raked up a controversy at the same time, when she snubbed a Pakistani lady at Beautycon LA with a, ‘Girl, Don’t Yell’ slam. The woman in question had accused her of supporting war and hatred over love. The lady had since not addressed or spoken about her statement.  But in an interview to the Daily Beast, the Quantico star has broached the subject for the first time.

“I feel like this is not an opportune moment to talk about it. My work for all of these years is a testament to that, and I don’t feel I need to keep regurgitating it,” explained Priyanka. Talking about the incident, while at a session during Beautycon LA, a lady hailing from Pakistan had asked Priyanka, slightly off topic and out of nowhere.
