Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, SRK’s Old Magazine Covers Photoshopped With A Face Mask; Netizens Thrash And Dismiss The Idea
The novel Coronavirus outbreak is taking over most of the people, resulting in it to be fatal for them. Even though the virus imposed a lockdown on us to curb the spread of the pandemic, the number of positive cases are only rising. As it making everyone vulnerable, a leading fashion magazine, GQ, tried to spread awareness on the same by resharing their old magazine covers and edited their covers with a face mask on it but they ended up facing the wrath of the netizens as they dismissed the idea.

The GQ India magazine’s official page shared a series of old magazine covers of  Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli and Hasan Minhaj but in every cover, they have photoshopped a face mask on them. Since wearing a mask in the time of Coronavirus has become ab important wear, plus, there are some places where there is a shortage of masks, the fashion magazine tried to spread awareness for the same.

They captioned each post with, “Wearing a mask in public can make a difference. To aid awareness, we dug into our archives and recreated 6 iconic GQ India covers. Some might even work better than the original! Make no mistake, we will defeat this. Aamir Khan - GQ India December 2008, Virat Kohli - GQ India August 2018, Shah Rukh Khan - GQ India February 2010, Hasan Minhaj - GQ India February 2018, Ranveer Singh - GQ India September 2013, Priyanka Chopra - GQ India December 2012”⁣

Seeing they have reused the same magazine covers, an Instagram is not happy with it as he commented, “How about for a change you have a doctor/ nurse on the cover? The real heroes of the present,” while another one wrote, “This is such a fail idea. Just no.” We saw one more comment, “This is an old cover recreated, edited… have you guys gone mad?” There were some who commented, “WTF” on the post. ALSO READ: Delhi Air Pollution: Priyanka Chopra Begins Shooting For The White Tiger In A Face Mask; Says She Has A Right To Breathe
