While everyone is wondering why the wedding didn’t happen, let us tell you that the bride-to-be, Ishita Kumar has undergone a surgery and needs time to recuperate.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, “The wedding, which was to be held last weekend, has been postponed as the bride-to-be had to undergo an emergency surgery just days before the ceremony.” A source close to the family told the leading tabloid, “There are rumours that the wedding has been called off, but it is not true. Ishita needs some time to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another mahurat.”
A few days back, Siddharth’s fianceé, Ishita had also posted pictures of herself lying in the hospital, and written, “Recovering from surgery 💉🤯 Very painful but glad it's over”
On February 27 in Delhi, Priyanka and Nick had landed in India to attend the roka ceremony of Siddharth. Welcoming her future sister-in-law into the family, Priyanka had written on her Instagram, “So proud of my baby brother. You are so beautiful together...”
On April 24, the desi girl landed in India sans husband Nick Jonas. Since then, the actress has been making the most of it by spending time with family and close buddies. Yesterday morning, PeeCee shared a picture with her girl gang. Then later in the evening, she came in to support her mom Madhu Chopra, who inaugurated her new clinic.
