We often hear stories of Delhi being unsafe and the latest incident is being shared by Priyanka Chopra's cousin Meera Chopra. Though Priyanka Chopra is currently in the US quarantined with her hubby Nick Jonas, her cousin, Meera Chopra, who is also an actress, took to her Twitter to report a crime. The victim is her dad who got robbed by knife-wielding goons. The incident took place in the evening when Meera's dad was out for a walk within the police colony. 

Meera, in her tweet, tagged Delhi Police and wrote, "@DelhiPolice my dad was taking a walk in #policecolony. 2 guys came in a scooter, showed knife and snatched his phone. This is how safe you claim Delhi to be. @ArvindKejriwal @CPDelhi"


In another tweet, she shared details of the FIR registered, "Fir no: NWD-MT-000568 at prince road near PCR police line, model town. Can send you the contact number in direct msg or some email". 


The incident took place today evening and is surely a shocking one. In her twitter, the actress has also raised a question regarding the safety in Delhi to the government tagging Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

On the work front, Meera Chopra still has to find a footing in Bollywood. Though Priyanka Chopra has more than once promoted Meera's upcoming projects, Meera is yet to make it big in the film industry. Her last popular film was Section 375 with Akshaye Khanna. Her upcoming film includes Mogali Puvvu which is a Telugu film and will be dubbed in Hindi too.
