On Tuesday, Amazon Prime revealed that a documentary on the Jonas Brothers is underway. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke gave all the credit to Priyanka Chopra for it.
"I love Priyanka and she introduced me to Nick Jonas. They sent me a video and we bought it right away and that's how we came about it," Salke told IANS in an interview. "I love her... So you can look forward to us doing more work with Priyanka," she added.
The film will follow “Sucker”, the band’s all new music release in almost six years after their split in 2013. The Jonas Brothers broke up their band due to a creative rift among the members. Nick Jonas, who is now married to Priyanka Chopra, had given a statement to People magazine regarding the split: "It's really hard to say 'forever'”.
Well, the reunion of Nick, Kevin and Joe involves more than just a new single. It’s got our desi girl Priyanka Chopra along with Joe’s fiancé, Sophie Turner and Kevin’s wife, Danielle Jonas in the music video. Speaking about the idea behind the project, Salke said: "It is really about our instincts, 'oh my God, our customer are going to love this' and we sort of lean in and figure out the best strategy."
Meanwhile, there’s yet another surprise for Akshay Kumar fans as he marks his digital debut on Amazon Prime with an edgy thriller series which has a working title “The End”.
