After making a confident debut on American television with Quantico, the first episode of which was aired yesterday, it's back to Bollywood for Priyanka Chopra. (Quantico Review: Priyanka Makes A Gloriously Sexy Debut On American Primetime TV, October 3)
However, it will be a short stay in India for the actress, who will soon return to Los Angeles to work on the thriller series.
After touching down, Priyanka will rush to Wai, where Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are awaiting her to film the climax of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani.
She will also been shown the final cut of the much-talked about song 'Deewani Mastani' that features Deepika and her in a dance-off. The number was choreographed by Remo D'Souza this summer.
Bajirao Mastani's shooting has been shifted to Wai following television and film workers' strike in the city. (Will Bollywood And Television Industry Come To A Halt, October 3.)
Bhansali, the film's producer, writer, director and music composer, has a two-week schedule left to shoot.
"Some action scenes and a few dramatic scenes will comprise the climax. Once that's shot, the unit will pack up for good," says a unit hand.
