PV Sindhu And Pooja Rani Get Support From Taapsee Pannu After Loss At Tokyo Olympics 2020
Badminton champion PV Sindhu and Boxer Pooja Rani have received support from actress Taapsee Pannu after they lost in their respective categories at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. PV Sindhu lost in women's singles badminton to Tai Tzu-Ying in the semi-finale. And Boxer Pooja Rani was pinned down in quarterfinal bout in women's middleweight to 2016 Rio Olympics bronze medallist Li Qian from China. On Saturday evening, Taapsee took to Twitter and expressed heartbreak over the losses.

Taapsee Pannu tweeted, “(Broken heart emoji) for Pooja Rani and Sindhu ! We are going to come back stronger !” In her following tweets, she cheered badminton players Chirag Shetty and Satwik SaiRaj for defeating Chinese Taipei pair. “So the only team who defeated the Gold Medal winners in Tokyo 2020 men’s doubles badminton are our boys! I would like to see the glass half full. We have a bright future with @Shettychirag04  and @satwiksairaj And congratulations Chinese Taipei pair, see u next Olympics.”
