Radhe Shyam: Prabhas REVEALS What Appealed Him Most About The Movie: ‘Never Did This Unique Kind Of Story, So It Got Me Engrossed’-EXCLUSIVE
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam to premiere on 24 April at Zee cinema
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam was recently released on 11th March. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film brings a unique concept focused on sci-fi romantic drama. Now that the film has finally been released in theatres and has created its magic on big screens, the film is all set to premiere on television this Sunday, on the 24 April. Bankrolled by UV Creations, the rom-com will be premiered on 24th April at 12:00 pm noon.
Talking about the film, Prabhas told us, “Radhe Shyam is a fresh mix of emotional love saga, romance and thriller set in the retro era and presented with grand look and feel, which, to me, felt an exciting combination to work with. While the film explores varied corners of the great war between love and destiny, the part that appealed the most to me was that the villain of the story is the unfortunate fate of the protagonist. My character, Vikramaditya, a great palmist with no sign of love on his palm, falls deeply for Prerana, making them a star-crossed couple.”
He added, “Now, this kind of story I hadn’t done in a while, so it got me engrossed. Radhe Shyam makes for a perfect Sunday afternoon watch that you can enjoy with your family and friends.”
Apart from Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, the film also stars Bhagyashree, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu and Murali Sharma.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently shooting for KGF director Prashanth Neel's Salaar. Apart from this, that the actor also has Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, Om Raut's historical drama Adipurush with Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in his kitty.
