The youngest to-be-bahu of the Ambani’s, Radhika Merchant, has been stealing hearts with her beautiful smile and charming personality. From her dance performance to emotional speeches, netizens have been gushing about her as videos and photos from her pre-wedding festivities with Anant Ambani went viral. Now in a new video, she is seen congratulating Ranveer Singh in Gujarati as he is set to embrace parenthood with his wife Deepika Padukone. 

In a video shared on an X handle, Radhika is seen addressing the crowd as Ranveer stands beside her. She addresses the employees of Reliance Industries, during a special event organised by the Ambani family. While talking in Gujarati, she took center stage after the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor’s electrifying performance. She revealed that Ranveer and Deepika are set to extend their family. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said,. “Thank you so much.  Now Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's family is gonna grow from 2. So congratulations for that from our Jamnagar family to your family.” The emotional dad-to-be touched his chest and bowed as the crowd cheered for him upon the congratulatory message. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone announced their pregnancy in February 2024. Through their post they revealed that their baby will be arriving in September 2024. Days before the pregnancy announcement, it was heavily reported that the 38-year-old actress was in the second trimester of her pregnancy. The reports started surfacing a day after her appearance on the red carpet of the 77th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award ceremony. Even netizens had started speculating the same as she was seen hiding her midriff with her saree. 

The couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they are eagerly waiting to enter the new phase of their relationship together.
