Rain Stops Emraan's Play!

Emraan Hashmi may have to extend his stay in London by 3 weeks. The actor is in the English capital to shoot Azhar, Ekta Kapoor’s biopic on former cricketer Mohammed Mohammed Azharuddin. However, the weather has been playing foul games with the film's cast and the crew.
Random thunder showers have been forcing the team to cancel shoots and sit indoors waiting for the rain to subside. Since this has happened very often in the last one month, the film's shooting, which could have wrapped by this month, will extend into September.
"The current schedule of the film focuses largely on the cricket fields. And when it rains, the weather gets cold which makes it difficult to shoot. And the pitch is wet. So, the cricket scenes can't be shot convincingly. The schedule is running late by about a month," says a source close to Emraan.
