It was a few days ago that South megastar Rajinikanth was hospitalised after complaining of irregularities in his blood pressure levels. Ever since the news broke, fans had only been concerned and prayed for his speedy recovery. The actor-turned-politician was then discharged on December 27 and has been advised to take rest at home by the medical authorities. Now, a video of the Enthiran actor waving at fans while on his way home from the hospital has gone viral and it's straight out of a massy film.
The video sees Rajinikanth, in a very good condition, exiting the hospital in his car and outside the gate, thousands of his well-wishers had gathered to catch one glimpse of their Thalaivar. Much to their delight, Rajinikanth opens his car window and waves at all his fans, leaving them to shout in utmost joy and excitement. Such is the craze of this megastar!
Meanwhile, the statement from Apollo Hospital, where Rajinikanth was admitted read, “In view of his improved medical condition, Rajinikanth is being discharged from the hospital today. His blood pressure has been stabilized and he is feeling much better. In view of the above conditions, he has also been counselled to avoid any activity that increases the risk of contracting COVID-19.”

In other news, Rajinikanth had recently announced foraying into politics and is expected to launch his party next year. "In the forthcoming assembly elections, Tamil Nadu will witness an honest, faithful, sincere and spiritual governance with people support. We will launch the party on December 31 and the work will start from January 2021," read his tweet.
