A scene featuring Rajkummar Rao sucking on a condom was deleted from his movie Trapped, reveals director Vikramaditya Motwane giving a glimpse of it on his Instagram account

Vikramaditya Motwane helmed Trapped was one film which was appreciated by the critics for acing the survival genre in Bollywood movies, but it did not make a loud noise at the box-office. National Award Winning actor Rajkummar Rao who played the lead in the film is shown to be trapped in a high-rise building, with the character finding it difficult to survive. Today the director dropped a still from the scene which was deleted as per feedback of CBFC before its release. 

The scene was Rajkummar sucking on a condom, Vikramaditya dropping this still explained the logic behind it and also shared CBFC’s approach on it. Vikramaditya Motwane wrote in his caption, “On this day, 5 years ago. @rajkummar_rao sucks on a condom in a deleted scene from #Trapped.” Further explaining why it was deleted and also shed light on his interaction with the CBFC, “We were asked by the censor board to delete the scene. When I asked why, they asked me why he’s sucking on a condom.”

Replying to which he said, “I said because he hasn’t had anything to eat or drink in days and it’s strawberry flavoured. They didn’t get it. I had to delete it.” In the picture, the actor is seen sucking on condom as he sits leaning on the wall looking weak, followed by one getting a closer look at it via camera monitor also seen in the still.
