Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have recently announced they are going to have a baby soon. The Raazi actress posted a picture on Instagram of an ultrasound, captioning, ‘Our baby ….. coming soon’. Most of the actors in the film fraternity congratulated them including, Gal Gadot, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Sonu Sood, Farhan Akhtar, and Anil Kapoor to name a few. Their families too showered love on them including Soni Razdan, Mahesh Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. Rakhi Sawant too wished her but she got brutally trolled.
Rakhi Sawant congratulated the couple and got brutally trolled by the netizens. In a viral video, the dancer called herself ‘Maasi’ of the duo’s unborn kid. In the video, she can be heard saying “Aaj mai itni khush hu... yes, congratulations aaj mai maasi ban gayi.” The Bigg Boss contestant added, ‘Alia I am so happy, Neetu ji aap dadi banne waali hai’. Sawant’s boyfriend Adil too extended his greetings to Alia and Ranbir. However, several netizens trolled and mocked Rakhi for relating herself to the duo. One of the trolls wrote, ‘Begani Shaadi mei Abdullah deewana’, and another one said, ‘Kahe ko is pagal aurat ke saath Ranbir aur alia ka rishta jod raha hai’. One of the users commented, ‘Maan na maan main teri mehmaan’. One comment read, ‘Masi shadi me invited nhi thi.”
Soon-to-be father Ranbir plans to get the name of the child tattooed. As per the ETimes report, the actor in one of the old interviews said, “I might get a number 8 tattooed or my going to be children’s name.”
Meanwhile, the condom brand, Durex congratulated the couple in the most hilarious way. They shared the post, captioning, “Mehfil mein teri, hum toh clearly nahi the Congratulations.” The post was captioned, “The JOMO is REAL! Congratulations Alia & Ranbir. #ranbiralia #Ralia #AliaBhatt.”
On the professional front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen in the upcoming fantasy drama Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie will hit the theatres on September 09, 2022. Ranbir Kapoor also has YRF’s Shamshera in the pipeline.
