Rakhi Sawant OPENS UP About Her Separation From Ritesh: ‘He Called Off Our Relationship, We Were Planning To Have A Baby In 2022’
Rakhi Sawant opens up about her separation from her husband Ritesh and admits they were planning a baby this year
While everybody around the world celebrated Valentine’s Day, the emotion for the day was not the same for Rakhi Sawant as the controversial queen announced her separation from her husband Ritesh. Rakhi issued a statement on her social media accounts and announced their separation saying she was really sad and heartbroken. Now, in a recent interview, the Bigg Boss contestant has opened up about her separation and revealed it was Ritesh who wanted to end their relationship.
In a conversation with ETimes, Rakhi said that on Sunday morning Ritesh started packing his bags as he decided to leave because of his legal issues with his first wife Snigdha Priya. The actress was quoted saying, “I didn't call it off. It was his decision. He was with me on Friday throughout. We woke up on Sunday. Rakhi also revealed that she pleaded Ritesh to not leave her as she truly loves him. She also mentioned that they were planning to have a baby this year. Adding to this, the 'Main Hoon Na' actress stated she would wait for Ritesh for a year and that she would only accept him if he buys his own car and house.
Ritesh is not legally married to Rakhi as he still hasn't divorced his first wife Snigdha with whom he also has kids. Snigdha has levelled domestic allegations against him claiming that he used to beat her continuously for several hours.
Earlier, in an Instagram post, Rakhi Sawant had said, “Dear fans and well-wishers, Just wanted to say Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After Bigg Boss a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately.”
