Rakhi Sawant bashes Kangana Ranaut for taking a dig at Salman Khan's Bigg during Lock Upp promotions
Kangana Ranaut is all set to host the upcoming controversial reality show 'Lock Upp'. So far, Nisha Rawal and Munawar Faruqui have been announced as the confirmed contestants of the show. Lock Upp will start premiering from 27 February on ALT Balaji and MX Player. The upcoming show has been making headlines for multiple reasons. During the show's promotion, a few days ago, Kangana Ranaut had said, "Yeh aapke bade bhai ka ghar nahi hai," referring to Salman Khan's Bigg Boss.
Now, Rakhi Sawant, who has been a part of Bigg Boss, has slammed Kangana for her comment. In a video uploaded by Lehren.com, Rakhi was asked if she would like to be a part of Kangana's show.
The actress replied, "Mujhe bahut bura laga jab Kangana ne kaha, 'Yeh tumhare bhai ka ghar nahi hai.' Behen, suno, itne time se bhai hi show chala rahe hain. Tumhare mein dum hai ek show chala ke dikhao. Bhai pichle 15 season se show chala rahe hai. Bhai mein bohot dum hai. Behen mein dum nahi hai." Furthermore, when asked if she would want to participate in Lock Upp, Rakhi said, "I am a fan of Ekta Kapoor. Aur mein Ekta Kapoor ke liye jaana chahungi, na ki Kangana Ranaut ke liye.
Lock Upp is backed by Ekta Kapoor. Earlier, in an interview with TOI, Ekta had opened up about her show being compared to Bigg Boss. She was quoted as saying, "All captive realities all over the world get compared with each other and this is a captive reality. It's like saying did you ever get scared because one soap opera got compared with the other? There'll be 10 shows, we will see them as same stories. But they have all worked on their own differences. There is going to be constant comparison. People will say stuff. But captive reality and original captive reality will also have its differences. Aap dekhiye kitna alag hoga."
