NCB issued summons to Bollywood actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and fashion designer Simone Khambatta. Yesterday, Rakul, Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash, and Karan Johar’s Dharma Production Executive producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad were quizzed about their alleged drug chat. During her questioning, Rakul allegedly dropped four names of Bollywood celebs and revealed to the investigating officials that Kshitij used to supply drugs to them.
Reportedly, Rakul Preet Singh was grilled by NCB for over four hours. During her interrogation, Rakul was asked about mentioning ‘doob’ in her WhatsApp chats with Rhea Chakraborty. The actress allegedly told the officials that the word meant a rolled cigarette and not something consisting of any mind- altering substance. But Rhea in her interrogation allegedly told NCB that doob was a reference to a drug.
An NCB officer revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “In the course of our investigation in the Rhea Chakraborty matter, we came across a WhatsApp conversation between her and Rakul Preet Singh in which Rhea asked Rakul Preet whether she had doob and Rakul Preet replied saying it was at her house.” However, the officer told the tabloid that Rhea, during her questioning’ had allegedly said ‘the reference to the doob was a reference to marijuana.’
A while back we told you, Kshitij Ravi Prasad, who was named by Rakul for supplying drugs to 4 Bollywood celebs, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. As per reports, Kshitij was evasive during the questioning. He was also asked about Karan Johar’s 2019 party, which created a stir on social media.
