Rana Daggubati And Miheeka Bajaj's Wedding Plan Goes Down The Drain; August Ceremony Postponed Due To COVID-19?
If reports are anything to go by, Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj's wedding that had been scheduled for August has now been postponed due to the rising cases of Coronavirus

It was recently that Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj's roka ceremony took place. The Baahubali star had taken to his Instagram account to share a picture and announce to the world that 'he's taken'. He popped the question and Miheeka said yes. Following the proposal, a roka ceremony took place amidst a few family members and friends. Later, reports suggested that their wedding is scheduled to take place on August 8. However, now the latest reports suggest that the ceremony has been postponed because of Coronavirus.
A report in Telegucinema.com states that the families of the couple have decided to postpone the wedding as cases of Coronavirus are rising in Hyderabad. The plan was to get Rana and Miheeka tie the knot in the month of December, however, as revealed by the actor's father, the families locked the month of August for the same as the lockdown was eased. But, currently, India is facing the worst phase of Coronavirus crisis and with each passing day, the numbers are just increasing. Hence, the decision to postpone the wedding.
Rana and Miheeka are yet to make an announcement about the final wedding date. Earlier, when the actor was asked about his wedding and whether it will be a grand one, he was quoted saying by Indian Express, "Depends on the world’s situation. I found the strangest time to get married."
He also spoke about the proposal and how real it felt to him. Rana stated, "She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. And then she met me in person, that’s it. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this.
