New mom Alia Bhatt, on Thursday, broke the internet as she shared the first glimpse of her newborn baby girl while revealing her name. The actress along with her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor welcomed her first child, a daughter on November 6 and called her baby ‘magical’ in a statement shared on social media. While everyone has been curious to know about the name of the little girl, Alia has finally revealed she and RK have named their daughter Raha. She also revealed this beautiful name was chosen by her doting grandma Neetu Kapoor.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia posted a blurry picture of her, Ranbir, and their little baby girl. In the candid shot, the actor could be seen holding his child, although the picture is not clear and their faces are not visible much, it is definitely shelling out major family goals. Sharing this super cute family picture, Alia wrote in the caption, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form means divine path in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla - rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss.And true to her name, from the first moment we held her - we felt it ALL!
