After years of dating, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in the presence of their family members and close friends. The couple's wedding took place on April 14 at Ranbir's residence Vastu. RK-Alia's special day was all about love and laughter. The pictures shared by Alia and family members including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Karisma Kapoor and others are proof of the same. Alia looked beyond beautiful on her wedding day and fans loved everything about her.

Fans showered her with love. However, she was also trolled by a few netizens. Right from accusing her of copying Kangana Ranaut on her big day to trolling Alia and RK for tying the knot at his residence, Alia was trolled left, right and center by many on social media.

Starting with the wedding venue, RK-Alia chose to marry at RK's residence Vastu. After Alia shared her wedding photos, some netizens drew similarities between her wedding look and the saree that Kangana Ranaut wore to her brother's wedding.

Ranbir and Alia look madly in love in their wedding photos. However, many accused the couple of copying western culture. One comment on Alia's post read, "trying really hard to copy the west... the least we can do is appreciate them," via BollywoodLife.com.

After the wedding, the couple's family members and guests shared photos on their respective social media. In one of the pictures, Alia's hair had gone a little haywire. Many trolled her and said that she looked tired. However, many of her fans also came in support of the actress and slammed the trolls.
