As per the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s pre-wedding functions commence today with Ganesh Puja. Neetu Kapoor's family, Mahesh Bhatt with his family, and Reema Jain were spotted arriving at Vastu residence, where the ceremonies are currently underway. Ranbir and Alia are rumoured to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony this week. As ceremonies at the actor’s residence begin, security has been beefed up with barricades placed outside the house.
In fact, the phones of the staff members have been covered with stickers ahead of the Mehendi function to maintain secrecy. In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, one can see Ranbir and Alia's staff's phones cameras getting sealed with stickers to avoid inside photos being leaked on social media. Red stickers are being put on phone cameras of the staff before their enter RK’s residence. The staff has been asked to hand over their phones and to seal back and front cameras with pink and red coloured tape.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Aaj Tak, Alia’s stepbrother Rahul Bhatt revealed that around 200 English-speaking non-smoking bouncers have been roped in to deploy at the function. Rahul said Yusuf Bhai, who is the owner of Mumbai's best security force, the 9/11 agency, will take care of all security arrangements at Ranbir and Alia’s wedding. The security team will get drones for the function and roving patrol officers will be there with every guest at the wedding. He was quoted saying, “I will also look after the security and fulfill the duty of a brother. Both the families wanted guards with good presentable personality.
