Ranbir Kapoor And Neetu Kapoor Perform Pooja Ahead Of Ganpati Visarjan, Fans Feel Nostalgic About Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration At RK Studios, ‘The RK STUDIO Ganpati Used To Be So Huge And Grand’
Ranbir Kapoor and his mother Neetu Kapoor were spotted on Sunday night for Ganesh visarjan and fans reminisce about the grand celebration at RK Studios
Ganesh Chaturthi is one such festival that is celebrated across India by everyone. Ganpati Bappa is welcomed home by devotees from superstar Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan To Ranbir Kapoor. Bappa can be welcomed either for one and half days or five days or seven days and ten days and then they bid adieu to lord Ganesha. Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were spotted recently for the Bappa’s visarjan.
On Sunday night, September 4, 2022, marking the fifth day of Ganeshotsav, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at Ganpati Bappa’s visarjan. In the viral video, the mother-son duo is seen performing puja and doing aarti as they bid adieu to Lord Ganesha. Neetu Kapoor adorned an Indian attire wearing a blue kurta and open hair while Ranbir kept it casual as wore a black full-sleeve t-shirt, cap, and a mask. They were surrounded by the crowd who watched them performing visarjan rituals.
Seeing the video fans felt nostalgic about the celebration at RK Studios by Kapoor Family, one fan wrote, “The RK STUDIO Ganpati used to be so huge and grand, and people from all over used to queue up to take darshan of the Ganpati.”
Earlier, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in a grand manner by the Kapoor Family in RK Studio in Chembur. The celebration was led by Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, and Rajiv Kapoor. This tradition of welcoming Bappa to the studio was started by Raj Kapoor and was kept alive by the family. The family came together in 2018 for the last time for a celebration as the studio was sold.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen next with wifey Alia in Brahmastra. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars, legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The magnum opus is directed by Ayan Mukerji and based on astraverse. This masterpiece is scheduled to release theatrically on September 9, 2022, pan India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. This film marks Ranbir and Alia’s first collaboration together.
On the other hand, Neetu Kapoor made her come back in films with Karan Johar’s JugJugg Jeeyo with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. She was also seen as one of the judges in Dance Deewane Juniors alongside Nora Fatehi and Marzi.
