Ranbir Kapoor And Varun Dhawan Likely To Team Up
Arif Ali may bring the duo together in a film that will be loosely based on the singing stars of the 1970s
Brother of Imtiaz Ali, Arif Ali, whose debut venture was Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, is ready to start work on his second film, a musical saga titled Sitaarey. Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor's names are doing the rounds to play the coveted roles.
Buzz is, the film has been inspired by the lives of two great male singing legends of that era -- Kishore Kumar and Mohammad Rafi respectively who were friends, yet competitors as far as their singing was concerned. Co-producer Arjun N Kapoor is meticulously planning to re-create the period this film belongs to.
