Ranbir Kapoor Feels His Girlfriend Alia Bhatt Is An ‘Overachiever’; Says, ‘Feel Like An Underachiever Next To Her’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are undoubtedly the IT couple of tinsel town. It’s been a year now since rumours around their wedding often make the headlines leaving everyone awestruck. For the first time ever, Bollywood’s lovebirds Alia and Ranbir will star in a much-delayed fantasy film Brahmastra. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Dimple Kapadia in the pivotal roles, has been scheduled to release in Summer ’21. While Alia Bhatt continues to seize us with her acting chops in super hits films, her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor calls her an overachiever.
During his latest interview Ranbir Kapoor called Alia an overachiever and said he feels like an underachiever next to her. Speaking to journalist Rajeev Masand, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is -- from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day.”
Well, apart from calling his lady love an overachiever, Ranbir Kapoor also spilled the beans on their wedding plans. During his conversation, Ranbir confirmed that if pandemic wouldn’t have hit the world then they might have taken their relationship to the next level and gotten hitched.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for almost 2 years now. It all sparked off on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and things got pretty serious between the two. On the work front, after Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia is currently busy shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR.
