Ranbir Kapoor Immerses Father Rishi Kapoor's Ashes; Riddhima Sahni's Husband Posts A Moving Message, 'Difficult To Say Goodbye'
Rishi Kapoor’s son-in-law Bharat Sahni shares a heartfelt post remembering his late father-in-law post Ranbir Kapoor immerses the actor's ashes
Yesterday, after a prayer meet picture of Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor performed at their residence in the memory late actor Rishi Kapoor surfaced on the internet, came videos and pictures of the Kapoor family immersing ashes of the actor at Banganga in Mumbai. The late actor’s son Ranbir, wife Neetu, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were accompanied by Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji for the ashes immersion ritual. Though Riddhima’s husband Bharat Sahni couldn’t be in town, he posted a message for his late father-in-law on his social networking account.
Posting a picture of Banganga on his Instagram stories, he wrote, “I consider myself lucky to have something that makes it difficult to say goodbye. Thank u for the memories.” Bharat Sahni was close to the Kapoor family and was often seen on vacation with them. Riddhima who couldn’t reach Mumbai for her father’s funeral, next day drove to Mumbai to be present at her father’s prayer meet which took place at their residence. Riddhima's daughter Samara Sahni also came along with her.
Riddhima was unable to be reach in town due to the ongoing lockdown imposed because of COVID-19. Riddhima ever since her father passed away shared several pictures of him on her Instagram stories, as she mourned his death.
After the actor’s last rites, wife Neetu Kapoor had posted a picture of the actor, enjoying a drink, stating it to be their last time together. Alia Bhatt too posted a picture of the superstar with his son Ranbir from his childhood.
