Ranbir Kapoor LASHES OUT At Ayan Mukherji For Wanting To Promote Brahmastra All The Time – VIDEO INSIDE
Ayan Mukerji took to Instagram to share a video of Ranbir Kapoor lashing out when asked to promote Brahmastra ‘properly’
Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji share an inseparable bond. The duo has worked together on films like Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. But it seems like their bond is in danger now. Brahmastra is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar, and Ayan is seen forcing Ranbir to promote the film again after more than a month of its release. In a hilarious video shared by the filmmaker, Ranbir is seen asking the audience to watch the movie on the OTT platform with fake enthusiasm. The director then prompts him to say blockbuster and talk about the VFX and the music of the film. Fed up with his constant interruptions, Ranbir gets angry, removes his mic, and walks off of the frame. Ayan tries to convince him to stay, but he doesn’t listen. Ranbir says, "Bhai mera hogaya abhi tereko jo bolna hai tu bol (I'm done, now you say whatever you want to)." Ayan then walks into the frame and looks at the camera and says, "November 4, don't miss it, Disney+ Hotstar."
Sharing the hilarious video on his Instagram, Ayan Mukerji wrote, "Justttt incase you missed it. 4th November… The Light is Coming!… (AGAIN) To Disney+Hotstar!! ……… Blockbuster!!! Okay bye." The video has left everyone in spilts. Many fans commended the filmmakers for this promotion style.
Earlier this week, Alia Bhatt too shared a video of Ranbir Kapoor ranting to someone on the phone about promoting the movie all the time. He expressed in the video that he has many important things to focus on other than just devoting his time to promoting Brahmastra. The video ends with him getting a call from Ayan and him agreeing to promote the movie. Ayan Mukerji's directorial Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, is the first part of his triology, Astraverse. Released in September 2022, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.
