While Alia and Ranbir have been open about their relationship, in an old interview, the Sanju actor shared when was the first time he met his ladylove Alia. While Alia has been quite vocal about having a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor since she was young, Ranbir recently revealed the first time when he met the Sadak 2 actress, and it was surely not the shoot of Brahmastra. During a Lokmat event, Ranbir Kapoor shared the first time when and where he met lady love, Alia Bhatt. Kapoor discloses that Sanjay Leela Bhansali was the man because of whom the couple met for the first time. Ranbir went on to share that he and Alia were supposed to debut in a film titled ‘Balika Vadhu’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Sanju actor shared that he also did a photoshoot with the actress then, and was a huge fan of her since. Present at the event was also Alia Bhatt who could not help but laugh at Ranbir’s answer. The Brahmastra actress further went on to share that she was only 11-years-old when Ranbir was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali on a photoshoot. Alia then added that she was very nervous and scared as she had to keep her head over Ranbir’s shoulder in the shoot and mentioned how she could not do it.
Ranbir Kapoor also mentioned about his reaction after watching Alia in Imtiaz Ali’s Highway. The Brahmastra actor shared that he loved Bhatt’s stellar performance in the film, and was happy for her success at a young age.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently in a relationship and fans are waiting for the couple to tie a knot soon. The couple has gotten all the approvals from the Bhatt and Kapoor family and is often spotted hanging around with the families.
