NNJH, the biggest ever hit in Punjabi, had bagged the National Award in 1969.

The film, which has been digitized and restored with enhanced colour format and better sound quality, will be re-released worldwide on November 27, coinciding with Guru Nanak Dev's birth anniversary.

The trailer of the movie, which also stars I.S. Johar, Nishi and Vimi, was launched at Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib in New Delhi earlier this week.

Raju Chadha, the Chairman of Wave Group, who took the initiative to restore NNJH, says, "As a child, I was moved by this film. I am happy to bring it back to the audiences. I want more and more people to savour this masterpiece."

The film will be presented by Wave Cinemas' Ponty Chadha and Shemaroo Entertainment in association with Raju Chadha.
