Randeep Hooda To Share Screenspace With Avenger Chris Hemsworth AKA Thor- Deets Inside
Randeep Hooda makes it to Hollywood via the digital route. The actor will mark his Hollywood debut with a Netflix film titled Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth. Playing an out and out action-oriented role in the movie, he was gushing over the director and co-actor for a wonderful experience he had while filming the movie. One more talented star of Bollywood has dipped his toes in Hollywood. After playing a pivotal role in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, actor Randeep Hooda has marked his Hollywood debut via the digital medium. The actor has been roped in by the makers of Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth, set for digital release on Netflix this summer. An out and out action-oriented role, this digital outing of Randeep in Hollywood has kept his excitement at its peak. The actor just could not stop gushing over the team for this brilliant piece of work.
Penned by Joe Russo, this digital Hollywood debut of Randeep gave him an opportunity to work with Chris Hemsworth, Russo brothers (the directing duo of the blockbuster movie Avengers) and director of the film Sam Hargave. The actor prepared for the action sequence for 10 days, which involved rehearsal of high octane action sequence twice a day. Randeep also revealed how the director too made it a point to be hung by a cable next to him to explain and instruct him.
In the first look revealed by the makers, Randeep is seen taking cover during an action sequence with a gun in his hand. Sporting a black and khaki coloured outfit, the actor is also seen sporting long tresses for the movie.
Randeep Hooda said, “It is described as a wrecking ball in the script. He’s had a run as a military personnel and is now working for Ovi’s father. For the action shots, we rehearsed twice a day for 10 days, since many of my roles so far have been more dramatic. Shedding light on the action bit of the movie, the actor said, “I get to do a lot of action in the movie. I might be the first Indian male actor to do such an action-packed role in a Hollywood film.
