South director S Shankar is all geared up for his next, which is a period drama. Buzz is, he has already signed Randeep Hooda to star in the ambitious project.
While the deal with the Highway actor is believed to have been sealed, the director is keen on roping in Amitabh Bachchan too. Sources close to the director say that he will approach Big B soon.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be a bilingual venture and will have a fresh face for the female lead.
