Rangoli Chandel Thanks 'Chotu' Kangana Ranaut, Says 'Parents Left But You Washed My Wounds'

During a recent interview for Panga, Kangana Ranaut revealed that she accepted tacky roles and guest appearances for paying for her sister Rangoli Chandel's surgeries. Thanking Kangana for the same, Rangoli posted a heartwarming tweet for her 'chotu' sister

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel was at the receiving end of a brutal and heartless acid attack many years ago. Only recently did Rangoli choose to speak about the gruesome acid attack on her social media handle where she posted a series of tweets to reveal the pain and horror of the gruesome attack. From undergoing 54 surgeries, complications in breastfeeding, losing an eye to Kangana beaten to death, Rangoli revealed every aspect of her the incident that she had to suffer many years ago. On the same note, Kangana who is promoting and giving interviews for her upcoming sports drama, Panga revealed how she used to accept tacky roles and guest appearances in the past so that she can treat her sister Rangoli Chandel's surgeries.

While speaking to Filmfare, she was quoted saying, “Financially too, I was not strong back then. Girls around me would feel depressed by a bad hair day or because a meal was not to their liking. I was grappling with something far more real and yet had no time to sit and cry. I did tacky films, took on roles I did not deserve, accepted guest appearances, so my sister could be treated by the best surgeon in India. Responding on the same, Rangoli took to her Twitter handle and shared how Kangana stood by her side and washed her wounds. She also said how Kangana, at the age of 19, had to struggle. In her tweet, she said, “I can never pay back what you did for me, at that tender age you were just 19 years old the horror of that accident even our parents couldn’t take they used to see my face and just faint they left but you stood by my side washed my wounds, worked day and…” continuing on the other tweet, she said, “…night to pay for my treatment, and then after years struggle when things got better you buried your face in my lap and cried .... I am glad you did cause strongest people most often forget to share their pain... thank you Chotu.”


Meanwhile, Panga will be clashing it with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D on January 24, 2020.
