Rani Miffed With Imposters Tweeting Through Fake Accounts

Rani Mukerji fans, don’t get excited if you see your favourite actress on Twitter. Truth is, several imposters have created various handles under the actress name and keep operating under their aliases.
Earlier in January this year, one of the fake account users even tweeted hinting that she is pregnant. Of course, the actress was quick to dismiss the baseless rumours and the handle was immediately suspended.
Seeing the rise in fake accounts under her name, the actress' spokesperson said, “This is to reiterate that Rani Mukerji is not on any social media platform and has never been in the past. There are several imposters who are operating various handles in her name, so we request you to disregard the same.”
Even in the past, many Bollywood celebs have borne the brunt of fake Twitter accounts including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Chitrangada Singh and Asin.
