Himesh Reshammiya’s latest discovery is making headlines for all the good reasons. A singer named Ranu Mondal, whose video of singing Lata Mangeshkar’s Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma at the Ranaghat station in West Bengal, song had taken Internet by storm, caught the eye of singer-composer Himesh, who didn’t take long and contacted her. Soon afterwards, she was offered to record a song for Himesh’s upcoming film Happy Hardy and Heer. But more than anything else the 55-year-old Ranu’s has reunited with someone which would have not been possible the other way.
As Ranu became an Internet sensation over night, thanks to her fame which gave Ranu her daughter back. Yes, that’s right! Ranu Mondal has reunited with her daughter Swati, who had not seen each other for 8 long years. A picture of mother daughter duo went viral which sees Swati embracing her mother and viral singer Ranu Mondal. Their reunion became a moment of celebration when Swati found her mother, when her video went viral on social media. Check out their cheerful picture below:

Earlier, there were reports that big hearted Salman Khan has offered Ranu Mondal a song in his upcoming film Dabangg 3. That apart, reports also suggested that Salman Khan has also gifted Ranu a house as she was had nowhere to go.
Talking about the same, Ranu had told IndianExpress, that it
was the first time that someone had trained her. I didn’t know the
technicalities of singing. She said, “Himesh ji treated me like a family member
and gave me my life’s biggest opportunity. I cannot thank God enough for making
me live a dream. I come from a broken family and have never seen so much love.
And now that people are showering me with so much love, I could not be happier.
Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would get a chance to be on such
a big platform, or even sing in a Bollywood movie.”
