Ranveer Singh And Zoya Akhtar To Collaborate For Yet Another Film After Gully Boy?
After the mammoth success of India's official entry to Oscars 2020, Gully Boy, speculations have it that Zoya Akhtar and Ranveer Singh will be reuniting for another interesting project and we know the details!
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy is making waves. Well, it has turned out to be India’s official entry for the upcoming edition of Academy Awards, popularly known as Oscars 2020. And, now, it looks like Gully Boy’s mammoth success has made Zoya Akhtar sign Ranveer Singh for yet another interesting project. Yes! As per a report in Pinkvilla, the filmmaker is currently working on a film that is going to be based on the life of a gangster.
A source close to the filmmaker told to the entertainment portal, “Zoya has always been criticised for making elitist movies. She proved everyone wrong when she made Gully Boy. Now, she's writing another script in a similar space and milieu. But it's a gangster drama that she has been planning for some time now." Further, they revealed how Zoya has approached Singh for the gangster drama and he is kicked off about the concept already. “Zoya has offered the gangster flick to her favourite Ranveer Singh already. He has heard the concept and is keen on doing it as well. He has verbally given his nod and this will be his third film with Zoya after Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy,” added the source.
As of the now, Ranveer Singh has his kitty full with some of the biggest films and, for Zoya Akhtar’s film; he is trying his best to sort out dates. Well, we hope it happens because Zoya Akhtar and Ranveer Singh’s combination is surely a blockbuster one.
