Ranveer Singh's next film is a sports drama, the much-anticipated '83. The film directed by Kabir Khan chronicles team India's victory in the 1983 World Cup. Ranveer has stepped into the shoes of ace cricketer Kapil Dev who was the captain of the team when India won its World Cup. Well, going by all the pictures and first look, we can say that Ranveer has done the job well. He seems to have put in a lot of effort to get the mannerism of Kapil Dev right. Plus, his love for cricket shows in everything he does. Like appreciating cricketer KL Rahul for his form and more.

Recently, cricketer KL Rahul shared a video on social media in which we see him practicing batting. The cricketer has shared the video with the caption, "Music to my ears." Of course, all his fans have gone crazy over it and so seems Ranveer Singh. The actor dropped a comment on the video saying, "Kadakkkk." Even Siddhanth Kapoor dropped a comment saying, "All set to take them by storm."

Talking about '83, Ranveer will be seen leading the team to its World Cup victory. Apart from him, we will also see Deepika Padukone essaying the role of his wife. The team comprises stars like Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, and more. Pankaj Tripathi will be essaying the role of  Man Singh the manager of the team.
