After a lot of speculations around who would be playing Ranveer Singh's onscreen wife in '83 film, the makers finally zeroed in on Deepika Padukone who will play Romi Bhatia’s role in Kabir Khan’s 83. As the news broke in the media, the DeepVeer fans simply couldn't wait to see them onscreen who was last seen in Padmaavat. Since it is now official, Ranveer Singh chose to visually treat us with the same and shared a series of on-the-set photos and a video which will give you nothing but pure joy. Not only this, the dimpled beauty has also come on board as the co-producer of the film.
In the photos, with all smiles, Ranveer Singh, his wifey Deepika Padukone and Kabir Khan were seen captured at the moment. Talking about the film, she told Bombay Times, “I am so glad that Kabir came to me with it. This happened a couple of months ago when he was still casting the boys for the film. It’s just that I was busy with Chhappak and we were waiting for the right moment to make the announcement.”
The cast of the film is currently shooting in Glasgow.
